点评:Visited yesterday with my neice, who was on holiday from Australia. My father (her Grandfather) served with the Gordons for over 2 decades, including the entirety of WWII. We found the staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Having taken a wrong turning, we inadvertently met the Chief Exec, who chatted away with us for a consideable amount of his valuable time, and even took us to the normally closed function suite, extending our tour and explaining his work and the challenges faced by the Museum. Similarly we casually met one of the tour guides who also took the time to chat and also asked about our connections to the Regiment. All in all we had an excellent visit to a superb attraction with excellent exhibits and video presentations. I highly recommend the museum to those with a personal attachment to the Gordons, and to those who don't. Current and future generations can only benefit from learning the history of The Gordons, and how they have helped shape the world we now live in. The Museum is vital in preserving this history, and as an educational resource for those who may not, but should be aware of it. Churchill called them 'the finest regiment in the World', I'm sure he would be similarly complimentary about their museum.
