点评:It may only be five miles long, but the scenery is beautiful, the volunteer staff bring it to life and the very different characters of the six stations are enchanting. There is much to see and if you are fan of a certain book from 1905 and 1970 film, this is the place to be (or Qokworth station is). Just standing on the platform where THAT line rang out - "Daddy, my Daddy!" is a real tear-jerker. The Carriage and waggon works at Ingrow West is well worth a look, even for non-railway nutters. The shed there is worth seeing. Keighley has a fabulous restaurant and is used by many non-railway users. £10m has been spent on the station (by KWVR and mainly Network Rail) , shared with the national network to improve the facility.
Haworth is the main centre for the railway and is a great place to visit for the running sheds and also the beautiful village. Oxenhope, the end of the line (but not the end of transport links) is a beauty of a station, too. The chance to ride on a 1950s railcar and watch the ride as the driver sees it was great fun and a sense of being together with the other passengers was superb.
