East Riddlesden Hall, National Trust的点评
点评：I had my daughter’s engagement part reception at the East Riddlesden Hall and were delighted to have booked the hall.
We were planning this for years to hold a reception here, as this place is stunning, beautiful, historical and anyone can fall in love with it on first sight.
It took us days to get in touch with the event manager (Agatha Cooper), on the day we made appointment, she was not there and we were received by a very helpful and polite lady (sorry forgot name), who showed us around even on a freezing day.
I arranged to go with my daughter over the weekend and visited the inside of the hall. What we were promised to be included was not included at the end.
Laura and Jess were very helpful, whereas the tone of the event manager’s communication was challenging and came across confrontational rather than helpful.
A minimum spend on drinks was required and I asked to make J2O drinks available, which was promised and, on the day, not a single drink bottle (apart from tea and coffee through hot water) was made available.
We were promised that a golf buggy will be available to take guests to the toilets and yes it was parked there and not on a single occasion it was made available.
Despite of promises that the lights in the car parking area will be available, it was completely dark and lights were not switched on.
We were promised that the toilets will be cleaned at intervals and kept clean, these were not cleaned a single time during the hire period. Muddy and filthy toilets.
In closing, I wish to have been writing glowing comments but sadly event manager’s reluctant to help and not available on phone was disappointing right from the beginning to the end.
I would advise everyone to pay attention to details for every single contractual detail prior to paying and signing contract.
