Fantastic stay - Buittle Castle

点评：We have just returned from a fantastic stay in The Munches bedroom at Buittle Castle. Tobias our host, was just fabulous and cooked delicious breakfast which we took in the main hall.
The history of the place is just so intriguing and interesting and Tobias’s knowledge is just remarkable. We choose to have an evening meal here and had the opportunity to eat inside the castle… what a wonderful experience, creating enchanting memories of a time lived here. Alongside, delicious food and wonderful conversation with our host, Tobias. (A definite must do).
This place is totally unique, you really feel a part of history especially knowing it’s importance and that Mary Queen of Scots stayed here.
The restoration project is a 20-30year project so don’t expect everything to be guilded and finished. It’s unique, quirky, interesting and a very, very special place that hopefully we will return too.
