Great castle, staff made us feel like an inconvenience

点评：Booked for my wife's birthday as we have looked online and it always seemed nice. Added the boat trip, and the website said we had a time slot for the boat, 10am. I have recently lost some mobility so the road train around the site was a bonus.
Upon arriving we were told the road train was not running, fair enough. We were told to go to the boat house any time between 10am and 3pm to board and didn't have a time slot. Asked a few other questions about opening times ect but although friendly she didn't seem to know, odd for entrance staff. Made our way down to the boat house and bought drinks while we waited for the boat. After half an hour of no boat we asked a member of staff who told us that the boat was not running, but we had been given tickets. After much confusion he called a manager and told us he would get a call back, 15 minutes later the staff member told us it had been cancelled due to "high winds". There was absolutely no wind at all, and none forecast. Disappointing but what really got me angry as the lie about the wind. The staff member in the castle entrance told us it was due to sickness, neither excuses seemed true as surely it would have been called off when we got our tickets that morning. Can only assume they could not be bothered.
Went to the cafe where a sign advertised ice-cream, the hatch was closed and read "please purchase in servery". We queued and were told they were not serving ice-cream, while standing almost directly next to the ice-cream in plain sight, again could not be bothered.
The attraction itself was very nice and the guides inside the castle knowledgeable and friendly, but the general feeling from everyone else was that we were an inconvenience.

之后我去了咖啡馆，那里有个牌子宣传有冰淇淋出售。那个窗口是关着的，上面写着“请在售货处购买”。我们排起了队，却被告知他们不卖冰淇淋；而此时冰淇淋就摆在我们眼前，他们却依然懒得理睬。
城堡本身非常不错，里面的导游也知识渊博且友善，但其他所有人都给我们的感觉就是：我们是个麻烦的存在。
