Spa day in a treatment room??

点评：Four of us booked for a spa day today and arrived at 10am (was told we could access spa from 9am). I have driven from Harlow, Essex and arranged childcare for the much needed day off! There was a nice lady on the leisure club desk who told us to go through to the spa on the left. I asked if I could use the gym and she said I would have to pay extra. Strange I thought as it’s usually included for a spa day. We walked past the small pool was full of a young kids swimming lesson. Not ideal but I was willing to relax in the spa until it finished. Then we get to the spa - this spa is actually just three treatment rooms on the side of the pool. No one was there to greet us, so we weren’t sure what to do. The leisure desk lady then came and told us we would have to pay extra for the pool. I double checked what my sister-in-law had booked unfortunately small print says you have to pay extra for this. But we still asked where do we go for the spa as we had a spa day booked. Apparently the tiny treatment rooms are the spa - so it looks like my sister-in-law was fooled by the advert and I wasted my time driving there :( will not be coming back here ever again. My gym club looks a better spa than this! Such a let down :(
