History and beauty let down by a done on the cheap feel !
哈伍德庄园的点评
点评：Harewood House is a beautiful building within a magnificent setting. The gardens and woodlands are inviting, enhanced by the call and sight of the occasional Red Kite.
We had visited primarily to see the House, unfortunately there was a Brontë, Turner exhibition in situ. The exhibition however was very good although without the room guides we wouldn’t have had any feel of the history of the house. As a result we were disappointed.
The Church is extremely old and full of history but dirty and uncared for, a real shame.
A coffee on the Terrace before our tour was really enjoyable, a gorgeous view, with friendly service. We went to the Courtyard for a light lunch, very poor! Obviously outsourced to people without any idea of customer care. The food was cheap to eat but expensive . Totally let down the experience. Take your own picnic!
