If you love and respect wildlife, this is the place to go
Rudy Ketambe Sumatra Jungle Trekking的点评
点评：Short review: Go with Rudy, he’s the best man out there and he will always take care of all your needs.
Long review: Rudy is an extraordinary man, he is very wise and knows the jungle like it was his home. He will explain everything about plants, flowers, monkeys, orangutans and more.
If you are still doubting about doing the jungle trekking, let me tell you it was the best experience of my life.
If you think is a very long way to Ketambe, it is well worthy cause you can stop in Berastagi, where you have many more attractions (lake toba, sipiso piso waterfall, fruit market, mt sibayak), so you can rest before going to the jungle.
Rudy took care of me, he had me all meals ready, snacks, water, tent and more. He also has to pay for the food, the cook, gas and more so don’t forget to tip him.
Finally, this is the best and most real way to see orangutans, not touching not feeding, just letting nature be nature. Stop overthinking and DO IT.
