点评:Arrived at the sculpture park and the guys on the entrance was great. We went to park up in a disabled bay and displayed our badge but a grounds man came over to me and said, " can you move as a an has parked in that space many years " As i was going to move this gentleman turned up in his car and parked in a disabled bay beside me but did`nt dispaly a badge ?.( this was actually a staff member ) Then the grounds mans said to me, " have you got a badge " ? This upset me from the beginning. The spaces have not got peoples names reserved for them and im more respectful when i park in these WITH my badge on display.
Apart from that the park is beautiful. Best to wear easy comfortable flt foot wear as you will walk several miles to get to see the sculptures scattered all around the park. There is a cafe on site a little gift shop to. Its a lovely day out all in all.
When we got back to our car ( shattered ) i asked the grounds man t why his friend is not displaying a badge, he said its not a problem as he works here and his other friend there use to be a traffic warden. This is not a nice man. But the park is so worth a visit. Will i recommend the park Yes but tell people to watch out for the grounds man with the grey beard.... Beware. Be careful where you park
There is some steep places and a bit stoney to .Take plenty of water with you.
