Iford Manor: The Peto Garden的点评
点评：Wandering the garden rooms and woodland paths was a great way to spend a couple of hours. Topped off with a cuppa and snack in the on-site cafe. The restaurant was fully booked for lunch, but there was plenty of space in the cafe.
The planting, the sculptures and water features each enhanced the natural beauty of the valley and onward views. The ancient large wisteria is very special.
Car park is large but in an uneven field. Paths are steep and often uneven. Many steps. Dogs on short leads are welcome.
Access is down a single track road, shorter and easier from Westwood than directly from the A36. There are regular passing bays, but some can mean a reverse of a couple of hundred yards if faced with oncoming traffic. Sadly not everyone is willing to put their huge shiny vehicle into the roadside. Access is signed from local major roads. .
Entrance fee is reasonable and even better with the "Gardener's World 2 for 1 offer".
Plant sales at reasonable prices. Friendly helpful staff.
