点评:Very haphazard and disorganised. We arrived Nairobi airport- had to call James to find the lift to our hotel. Next day our driver arrived and said he wasnt told what time to collect us. The driver was old and very difficult to understand. The first hotel we stayed at was shabby and gave us food poisoning. We were never given any specific flight details for the various internal flights. I thought we had one internal flight, it turns out we had TWO.
I asked SEVERAL TIMES before we left the UK about inoculations - James said none were needed. We were told to pay $100 in fines at both the Kenyan and Tanzanian borders because we had no yellow fever certificate. Much worse was when we tried to leave Kenya we were refused on to the flight because of lack of certificate. A lot of panic and stress and pleading with airport officials to get home!
And finally we we held TO RANSOM by James because of a short fall in the final balance owing to currency fluctuations. We couldnt leave an airstrip in the middle of Kenya because he refused to pay the landing fees!! WHO DO THIS ????
Overall our accommodation was dated with buffet type meals and very hot rooms. I will be very reluctant to use a local travel agency ever again wherever I travel. POOR in every respect.
