We booked what was advertised as the “Large Cabin” (pictured above), but upon arrival, we were given a much smaller, poorly maintained cabin that did not match the listing at all.
The room was infested with wasps and other bugs. When we reported this to Ross (the only staff member we encountered), he casually said, *“Well, I can spray,”* with a grin, showing a complete lack of concern.
The cabin itself was in terrible condition:
* The gas lantern didn’t work.
* There was no way to secure the cabin—no lock, no safe, nothing to protect valuables.
* The single-pane windows were either broken, didn’t open for ventilation, or were in terrible shape, making the cabin extremely hot and uncomfortable.
* The mattresses were about 3 inches thick and felt at least 20 years old—completely unsuitable for a restful night.
We had traveled a long distance expecting a clean, comfortable, and accurately advertised cabin. Instead, it felt like we had been scammed. The lack of basic amenities, safety, and staff professionalism made this a completely miserable experience.
Avoid this place at all costs.
