点评：We had a fabulous time here in June and were lucky enough to stay in the castle.
We loved walking in the grounds at different times of the day.
Although we are National Trust Members, a complimentary guided tour of the castle was included.
We had a delightful tour guide who gave us fascinating information.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some tasty sausage rolls and scones baked to order from the little cafe.
There is a big play area which is suitable for kids.
All in all an amazing place to stay. We liked the idea of being ‘guardians’ of the place when everyone has gone home at night.
We had to contact staff one evening when the alarm went off. They came quick and seemingly someone had set off the alarm in one of the disabled toilets which was soon sorted out.
If you get the opportunity come and spend some time here. 😊
