点评：I cannot speak highly enough of our experience in Sander's studio. To start with, this is not just a photo shoot. Sander is a historian who has thoroughly researched and immersed himself into the world of Vermeer and his contemporaries. The session he took us through at the beginning of our appointment was enough to tell us that, and worth the visit alone even before the photos. It was so magical dressing up and embodying characters from the past. Our first visit was just for myself, but the rest of my party was so impressed we wanted to come back and do a group portrait. Sander kindly opened his studio for us and was welcoming, kind, and supportive. People in my group who HATE being photographed were wiling to return just to be photographed, which tells you how good Sander is at his job! We absolutely loved the entire process and would recommend it to anyone, it's such a great way to commemorate a holiday or even just an interesting way to have your portrait taken! We left in love with our photos, and looking at paintings differently from now on. So grateful to Sander for his hospitality and enthusiasm, and so eager to tell everyone to go!
