点评:Passing by the trees and beautiful Scottish countryside felt like traveling back in time when we approached Duncarron, and we arrived to a warm welcome.
The staff were both friendly and knowledgeable and we quickly felt like we'd known them longer than we had as discussed Duncarron etc.
We were also able to stay the night in the car park so we got set up and enjoyed the peace and surroundings.
The next day we walked up the winding woodland path to the medieval village itself where it was evident upon our approach that this site was a product of a labour of love.
Once in the stockade like structure there was so much to see and do from stalls to displays and even some screen used working props from movies such as 'Rosie' the battering ram from Robin Hood (Kindly donated to the museum by Russell Crowe). This is most definitely a place of recreated living History.
Our time there felt like being in a bubble away from modern life and there's most certainly an air of magic about the place.
We will definitely return!
