点评:The museum is jam-packed with toys of every kind and jogs one's memory in so many ways. Train sets, soft toys, games and jigsaws, train sets, dolls, Dinky cars and Hornby trains, Brittain's miniature garden sets, plus many of the more modern collectibles such as Star Wars and the like. My 93 year old mum accompanied us to the museum and we all thoroughly enjoyed the two hours or so that we spent looking around. The exhibits are laid out well and labelled clearly, although many of the items needed no explanation as we'd owned similar toys ourselves back in the 60's. The working train set was a delight to watch and seeing the Pelham puppets and Sindy dolls and her furniture brought back many happy memories for me. To occupy younger kids there is a Wallace & Gromit spotting list to see if they can find the models in the cabinets amongst the other toy exhibits. We were able to have a chat with Ian Gregory, the founder, about many of the toys on show, and it was a really uplifting experience.
Note: if coming by car you will have to park in the town somewhere or along the promenade as there is no parking space outside the chapel.

注意:如果您开车前来,必须在镇上或海滨大道沿线停车,因为教堂外没有停车位。
