点评:From the outside Clevedon looks like a lovely country manor - that's about the only good thing I can say about it. As previous reviewers have stated, you have to wait outside for the door to be opened for you, luckily for us the weather was decent on the day of our visit. You are limited to just a few of the rooms in the house where there is a volunteer who if you're lucky, will give you a bit of the history mixed with a fair bit of sarcasm. I have to admit that there are some interesting artifacts to look at and if you're deemed worthy enough - one of the guides will tell you about it. We couldn't visit the garden during our visit due to some renovations being carried out.
Staff - Very snobbish and a times quite rude. One particular "gentleman" who was in the room with the glass artwork was very rude with my mother because she stated that some of the work wasn't to her taste. The only guide who was pleasant was the lady in the what I believe was the kitchen, now a room displaying some ceramic works etc.
Will I visit again? Absolutely not! I've never felt so unwelcome at an NT property and I don't want to hear my mothers taste in glassware being ridiculed by some pretentious guide.
