点评:Plenty to see and in nice weather an ideal place to enjoy views outside on the terrace. Will recommend to family with pram as lots of accessible paths in the grounds and a lift to get upstairs.
Very interesting to see a different view of history but museum annotations contain exceptionally clumsy revisionist interpretations regarding slavery and indigenous people. It would be better to separate out the history to show different viewpoints rather than to add apologetic references at the end of so many exhibits. Very jarring as it is at the moment.
Still some lovely mystery lift the flap objects and the photos of indigenous people are imaginatively shown with long sweeps up and down them so you can look in detail at costumes.
Struggled to find anything appetizing in the deli. Cheeses scone and brownies were good but the rest pretty poor. Coffee also weak
