点评：Called in at 11.45am and was told that breakfast was no longer being served despite it saying that it stopped at noon. The table we we sat at was not clean and no staff member made any attempt to clean it. We used a tissue ourselves and wiped it. We had only been given the menus when we were approached and asked what we wanted by another member of staff. We asked for a few more minutes to look and then a third member of staff immediately came over. This time a young gentleman. We asked him what the soup of the day was to which he answered...good question. He then told us they had stew. Eventually he said the soup has some carrot in it. I asked what toasties they had, to which he replied sourdough. I then asked what fillings they had for the toasties and he said plain or jam?
Despite telling us initially breakfast had ended my parents were able to order an all day breakfast. I ordered the chicken and cheese melt. Some 35 mins later the food arrived lukewarm and the all day breakfast looked like it had been cooked the day before and sat under a lamp. It was dry and the the sausages were all whizzled up. My toastie was practically cold and the bread was hard. After another pause we were then given cutlery wrapped in damp napkins. Some 10 mins later we were given our tea, which the young man dumped on the table with cups in a heap on the teapots. No one approached us to ask if everything was OK apart from the dog which came over to our table looking for something to eat and plumped itself on the floor beside us. The service was atrocious and the food is well below average considering the menu is fairly basic meals. Never again!
