点评：One of the most beautiful buildings in Belfast is without a shadow of a doubt the Scottish Provident Building.
The Scottish Provident Building is a significant Edwardian era building, constructed between 1897-1902 and built from designs from architect's Young & Mackenzie ,a great example of Italian Renaissance style architecture, built primarily from Glasgow blonde sandstone with a green copper roof ,the facade of this magnificent building has symbolic ornate carvings relating to industry associated with the city of Belfast such as shipbuilding, rope making,spinning and printing,atop the roof are two bronze statues of sphinxes ,its just a stunning looking building thats most definitely well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to Belfast, its easy to locate on Donegall Square .
