Disappointing, again.

点评：My second review after another try of the cafe, which appears to have changed management since my last review.
No longer are there disposable cups/plates etc, instead there's tiny teacups to contend with. They belong in a dolls house, not in a cafe. Anyone elderly, disabled or with fat hands will really struggle to drink from them. They may look pretty, but it's not sensible.
The tea is served in a tea press/cafetiere-type of thing. Again, pretty, but not useful: can't stir the tea, and by the time you get to the end of the pot it's very, very stewed and bitter.
The prices are astronomical. We couldn't find the prices before we ordered (maybe that was a clue) - but we didn't expect two teas, one coffee and two slices of cake to be £23!!
There's been some general adjustments since we last visited. There's very little in the glasshouse, and the greenhouse is full of boxes. The till is now in a dark corner of a little room - almost as if they don't want you to buy anything.
Staff-wise, nothing has improved since my last review, they are still charmless. They can't always be having a bad day.
We used to come to HC when you used to pay in a little wooden hut, with two older ladies who would chat. Now, staff will push past you like you don't exist. Any interaction is minimal, as if you're wasting their time.
Don't want customers? That's ok. We can go elsewhere. Newlands Nursery at Chatburn is much nicer. It may not have the frills that HC has but they are glad of your business.
The problem with HC is it has an image to uphold. It gets in the fancy brochures, attract the ladies who lunch, wants to win the awards, but it's not welcoming, it's not good value, and as it has grown it has lost all of its charm.

不想有顾客？没关系。我们可以去别的地方。查特伯恩的纽兰兹幼儿园好得多。它可能没有HC那样的华丽，但他们很高兴你来光顾。
HC的问题在于它需要维护自己的形象。它印着精美的宣传册，吸引着来吃午饭的女士们，想要赢得奖项，但它并不受欢迎，也不物有所值，而且随着它的发展，它已经失去了所有的魅力。
