Beautiful waterfall

点评：This is a charming waterfall to view in the north or Iceland. It can be found along Rt 752 south of the Ring Road at Varmahlíð. The falls is located on private land and horse farm which provides a nice carpark area and WC facility for visitors. They ask for 1500kr (or 10 USD or Euro) payment per vehicle. There is a honestly system in place your payment in the honesty box at the front of the carpark.
To see the falls, there is a short walk from the carpark up to the falls. I believe the walk took us less then 10 minutes where you find yourself standing in front a delightful cascade spreading over a riverbed drop off, creating a rather beautiful waterfall. There is also a hot springs pool just above the falls that you can make use of when visiting.
Overall, we very much enjoyed seeing Reykafoss, finding it to be one of the most impressive waterfalls in the north of Iceland. Made for a nice driving break and stretch of the legs as well.
