Three Pines Tours的点评
点评：The Three Pines tour was a Louise Penny lovers delight! Every stop was meaningful to those of us who are avid LP readers. Patricia was our driver and guide for the day, she provided lots of details about the places we visited as well as information about Louise Penny. The SUV she drove was comfortable for my friend and I and the couple who were also on the tour.
It is hard to pick a favorite from all the places we visited, but I have to say the St. Benoit du Lac Abby and the Haskell Free Library and Opera House certainly stand out. The small church that inspired the St. Thomas chapel was quite moving with its Roll of Honor that includes 3 brothers who went to WWI. (Only one returned.) Hovey Manor, the inspiration for Manoir Bellchasse and the place we stopped for lunch, is delightful and we learned that it was the place that Louise's husband proposed to her.
Our wrap up for the day was at the Broome Lake Books and bistro, the perfect end to the day, where we enjoyed coffee and tea and a pastry. All highly recommended!
