A Great Day Out with Plenty of Animals to Look At

点评：This is a lovely place to visit. Plenty of free parking and even plenty of disabled spaces closer to the entrance. We were given a warm welcome by the lady on the entrance gate and a paper map of the zoo.
It is spread out more than we thought but there are plenty of seats and picnic areas as you walk around. Loads of different animals to see. You can even buy a bag of animal food for £1.50 to feed certain animals. There are lots of handwashing facilities around the site to use after doing this plus more toilets around the site other than the main hub as well.
There is a very wide selection of animals including Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Tiger, Monkeys, to smaller animals like Rabbits and Meerkats etc, who all looked very well cared for.
Plenty of children's activities and play areas, so a great place to take children.
Although there are several picnic areas, there is also a cafe. The staff in the cafe were extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a nice lunch before looking around the zoo again. Spent a full day here and would highly recommend it.
