点评：We just completed the 5-day Inca Trail (Imperial route) with Peru Treks, and the experience was nothing short of incredible. From start to finish, everything was expertly organized and thoughtfully executed.
Our group was small—just four of us—which made the journey feel like a private adventure. Our guide , Juan Carlos, was exceptional: knowledgeable, patient, and deeply passionate about Inca history and Andean culture. He kept us motivated on the tougher sections and made the ruins along the way come alive with stories and context that we never would’ve gotten on our own.
The porters were true heroes of the trail. Watching them race ahead with impossible loads, only to greet us with smiles and hot meals at camp, was humbling. The food itself exceeded all expectations—we were served hearty, delicious, and varied meals every day (even with dietary preferences accommodated), and it was some of the best food we had in Peru.
The gear provided—tents, sleeping mats, and other logistics—was clean, comfortable, and high quality. Campsites were always ready when we arrived, and everything ran like clockwork.
Peru Treks also showed a real commitment to sustainable travel and responsible tourism. They treated the porters with respect, provided proper gear, and emphasized Leave No Trace principles throughout.
