点评：I highly recommend booking your Machu Picchu and Inca Trail trip with Peru Treks. They were extremely well organized. Communication was excellent along the entire experience. They were able to accommodate our schedule and provide orientation ahead of starting the trek. The coordinator checked in along the way to ensure we didn’t miss the train or train stop. It was convenient that all the required expenses were included in the trip fee.
The guide Peru Treks provided was excellent. He had over 20 years of experience leading trips in the region, which meant he knew all the tricks to provide a memorable experience. It was a welcoming, inclusive, and educational atmosphere. We booked a small group and ended up doing a private tour. The trip is best if you’re in shape, as the first day’s hike was strenuous. We took it at a well managed pace. The guide explained the history, context of the hike, local nature, and the nature. He also took great photos of us!
Peru Treks booked us for the morning entrance time slot, and the guide offered to take us at opening. This meant we saw Machu Picchu with no tourists — absolutely amazing and magical to see the sunrise over the site. I’m not sure if they can always guarantee the timing, but this really was a highlight of the trip.
The hotel booked was clean and comfortable. Not luxury but exactly what we needed. The food along the way was great (lunch and dinner).
I would book with Peru Treks again.
