Review of Valpolicella and Amarone Wine-tasting Tour from Verona

Everything was fine until we got to the wine tasting. There were 10 people (5 couples). Two tables of wine tasting. Sonia, our guide directed us and another couple to sit at the back table. Two couples sitting up front were already off and on their way when we were just poured our 4th of 6 tastings. One couple, who spoke only Spanish, was catered to by Sonia. Their wines were aerated (ours were not) they were served plates of cheese (we were not offered anything whatsoever) and she basically ignored us until such time that we decided to leave due to being basically ignored. Then suddenly we were spoken to. We were offered a consolation bottle of wine and she offered an apology. she tried to explain it away by saying the couple she catered to only spoke Spanish and the other two couples had another tasting to get to. That explained nothing. We only speak English, so how does only speaking Spanish get you food and aerated wine? Anyway, would never recommend this tour.
