£2 fair as long the experience is good

点评：Although I have placed reviews on this pier before I wanted to update after all the recent comments regarding the £2 admissions cost, piers take a huge amount of maintenance or else they deteriorate quickly and become unsafe, there are a lot of areas on the Grand pier that are in need of major maintenance and this work is very costly so I have no problem paying £2 many other piers also charge an admission fee and Brighton has now increased theirs to £2 as well although council ran Bournemouth have recently dropped a entry charge.
After saying that a commercial pier such as Weston should aim to get back as much as possible from the attractions and there are often many that are nether open and the whole place has a lot more potential for making money on a evening essentially Captain Jacks bar and the Tiffany room but sadly always closed unless there is a event on.
Also several attractions were never built as planned or are now broken and not being replaced, which is very sad.
