Wild, rugged extraordinary coastline

点评：Friday 27th June and we visited here which is located on the most southern tip of the Isle of Portland in Dorset.
The main purpose of our visit was to take the guided tour of the famous red and white lighthouse.
We parked up in the car park near the lighthouse, the charge was £4.80 for two hours.
As we had 30 minutes before our Tour to begin we took the opportunity to walk about on enjoy this magnificent rugged coastline.
We started off visiting the Trinity House Obelisk 1844, it is situated on clifftop edge. We then made our way along the coastline enjoying the amazing rock formations, Pulpit Rock and the coastline.
We stopped at the Lobster Pot Cafe for a coffee, we sat outside on one of the benches looking out to sea enjoying the views, the warm weather and our coffees.
We then made our way over the headland in the direction of the old crane "Red Crane.
It was time to return to the lighthouse to begin our tour.
