点评：As promised review, devoted to lovely Ella.
It’s my statutory right to show due diligence to try out every vineyard at least, but not limited to local vineyards in West Sussex.
Upon arrival a lovely blonde girl (not Ella) helped me regarding getting a wine flight that yes, you can show up and request at either £18 for 3 or £36 for 6-8? We sat on the lovely balcony overlooking the vines and the vibe was lovely. There are tables inside and umbrellas is the sun is too much for some.
Id noticed the cards above the self service wine machine so wanted to match each wine to a card to negotiate my favourite. Perhaps this could be a suggestion going forwards?
My favourite was the Chardonnay followed closely by the 23. Ella was attentive throughout asking if we’d like nibbles or giving advise on the wines.
Another suggestion would be perhaps a build your own hamper? In the shop. Almost like a meal deal you could stack a hamper and dissapear into the vines - be a good way to get this stock used and upsell. Perhaps mini bottles of each wine to take - too.
We enjoyed the live music also on the Sunday as unfortunately nutbourne was closed (you’ve got the monopoly here well done!) with a few more 23’s.
Wish I’d have known they do food, will book for this in future. Thank you Ella for making our stay here so enjoyable.
