Great route, less happy with the bikes and service provided

点评：We did the Copenhagen north Zealand trip with Eurobike, operated by their local agent Pedalo.
The good points:
1) the route was great and offered us a real insight into the area - v varied, much off road. Worth the longish 70km day that enabled us to go to the Royal Palace at Hillerod.
2) the app worked well , except for 1 fairly big detour because of a building site that was not indicated and had clearly been in place for months - we got pretty lost.
3) the luggage transfers worked well.
The negatives:
1) we were provided with city e-bikes - while sturdy, these were absolutely not adapted to the terrain much of which was off road - they needed suspension. The bikes were one size - I have never previously rented a bike where I was not required to provide my height.
2) we were not actually booked into one of the hotels on our list - turned out we’d been booked into a sister hotel - took a very long time to resolve and we had to take a taxi to get there - still waiting to be refunded for the taxi fare and détails of the price différence.
3) the local rep had zero knowledge of the route, and only a basic knowledge of the app and the bikes - he was clearly not a cyclist which I found very surprising.
4) the hotels were OK but basically large business hotels, one was more a motel and pretty poor - would have preferred to have the option of basic or premium accommodation- whilst there may be a limited choice of hotels in some areas it should at least have been possible to upgrade the rooms .
