点评:While staying in Mansfield we found the park while out walking around town.
It is very spacious, spread over a fair area beside a creek.
Very well maintained, nice grass areas and garden beds , like the conifer gardens.
Admired some nice trees, some a bit unusual.
There is an Aboriginal garden there, all native plants and information boards.
Good seating around the park and handy toilet facilities.
Barbecue and kids play area, good spot for a family get together.
There are a couple of water areas but very little water in them which looks a bit ordinary, maybe it has been very dry here or they have been drained.
We enjoyed a leisurely walk around on a very nice afternoon.
These sort of places are always a good asset to any town, we did see a plaque acknowledging the gentleman who setup and instigated these gardens about 60 years ago, well done to him, nice to be recognised
