All aboard the Artful Dodger... Again!

点评：Just had our 7th annual holiday on Artful Dodger, & already booked our 8th! As we were able to book extra weekend onto our trip, we went down to Milton Keynes this time. We have travelled a different route each trip.
Love Dodgers' beds - so comfy! Total darkness, complete silence, comfy mattress, optional tipple = FAB nights' sleep! Log burner with plenty of fuel, & radiators throughout - toasty! Fully equipped kitchen & Abi always leaves basics, salt & pepper, WU liquid, loo roll, towels etc. Good hot shower in roomy bathroom. TV's not great, but DVDs & games on board.
Abi always gives us 'refresher' training & full instructions regarding all aspects of being on board Dodger. She has always answered her phone if we have had any concerns or needed advice, regardless of the time. All our paperwork has been emailed in advance, & then signed when we arrive. She has always provided us with a professional service which is probably why we go back every year.
CRT Volunteers - canals wouldn't survive without them. Certainly couldn't do the locks without their help & advice. Most of them are very pleasant & happy to share their knowledge. However, there are a couple of volunteers on the staircases who are very negative about Dodger/Maggy. Please do not let them put you off, just phone Abi.
Take the time out to enjoy the stunning sunrises/sunsets, wildlife, scenery, canal community, but mostly the peace & tranquillity.
