点评：Prior Park Landscape Garden offers the opportunity to wander around an historic Landscape Garden. The Palladian bridge sits beautifully in the park, with a wonderful view down to it from the top of the garden, as well as the opportunity to walk across it and to view it from the bottom of the garden, looking up to Prior Park House (which is now a private school). There is also a signposted viewpoint on the trail which is well worthwhile visiting as it allows the visitor to look down upon the wonderful city of Bath below. The tea cabin near the pool is very good, although it might be nice to take a picnic on a fine day.
Before your visit, and to avoid disappointment, please read the information regarding accessibility that is clearly set out on the National Trust website page. There is no parking at the site, but the webpage gives good suggestions as to how to get here without using your car. We walked up from Bath, but are fit, healthy and walk regularly; it would be a challenge to arrive on foot otherwise. However, there is a bus stop at the entrance, and buses passed us with frequency as we walked. There is also an entrance lower down near St Thomas a Becket church, which is signposted as a pedestrian route to the church. We made our exit along this route.
