点评:I went for an afternoon out with my grandson. You now have to pay for parking if your are not a member. As we had my grandson's pram (he is 15months) there was no indication of a ramp to enter the main house. We took a walk down to the castle which is lovely and interesting with all the different plants. We played around the castle and in the park/seating area at the rear of what is a new cafe. This cafe closes at 4.30pm, I requested a baked potato for my grandson and was advised the kitchen closed at 3pm for cleaning, checking my watch it was 3.03pm. I also requested a large cappuccino, but unfortunately they didn't have a large paper cups. This was not a positive experience and certainly put a blight on our day. I have been to Belsay Hall many times previously with and without children, but it will be a while before I revisit. It is not a cheap day out and then you are expected to pay for your parking on top. There is no other parking available.
