OK, but could be a lot better

点评：We stayed for 1 night in a loch view room. The rooms are very disappointing for the price. Very, very small with no storage and the bed was only double bed. Who still sleeps in a standard double? I’d defo expect a king at least. Hubby & I usually sleep in a super-king or king so we had a terrible nights sleep.
The view is only visible if you stand up in the balcony. The balcony is dark and grubby with an over head canopy restricting the light.
While on the balcony, you smell the food and chip fat from the kitchen extractor fans near by which isn’t pleasant.
The tea/coffee facilities in the room is also awful unless you like sachets of Nescafé instant coffee and tetley tea bags. For £250 a night, I’d expect a coffee machine or better quality coffee with local biscuits.
The cafe is great, the public areas are really nice too. The restaurant was ok, the food was ok.
Would I return to this hotel? No, definitely not value for money.
