Balmaha Visitor Centre的点评
点评：The Visitor Centre is to the side of the large carpark in the centre of Balmaha, there was a large sign pointing out the carpark is Council operated and the Visitor Centre staff had no control over it.
I guess they get a lot of people complaining, when I was there the Council were still working on the card payment machines; the one working was right at the far end. However, you can pay by RingGo (23707) but must still 'buy' a ticket even when the first hour is free; up to two hours is £2.80 when I was there.
The Visitor Centre istelf has some displays on local geology and ecology, a children's play area and an information desk with staff to answer questions and provide guides and leaflets. There's also toilets, these require a card or mobi to 'tap in' and cost 50p; I think the disabled toilet is also 50p. They are however clean and there is soap and water. It's too bad the toilets are within the main building which shuts at 5pm.
