点评:Visited at a weekend with three children aged 11-16. Ignore the negative reviews - those were likely written by people with no understanding of history.
In short, a really good museum. It's not huge, and there is a lot of written information to take it, but it's professionally presented and interesting as it delves into the personal histories of the villagers impacted by plague. There's information about the plague itself, plus the history of Eyam and its industry. Some efforts have been made to add interactivity - dressing up, short film about the plague in the village (which needs to be on a bigger screen with more seating), and tbh a little more could probably be added to capture the imagination of all visitors - e.g. visitors have the name of a villager and trace their history through the museum before discovering whether they survived at the end... puzzles for kids (in addiiton to the quiz)... a science area focusing on the science behind plague - microscopes etc... truths and myths about the plague... I could go on!
Cheap entry at £5 for adults, less for children. Definitely worth a look.
