点评：We visited here to view the Christmas decorations which were absolutely stunning and during our visit we had planned to have lunch in the cafe, we expected it to be busy during this Christmas period, fortunately we didn’t have to wait long for a table, the food served quickly was delicious. But my goodness, the staff in the cafe were extremely flustered and sometimes quite abrupt and this ruined the whole day for us.
Haddon Hall is a beautiful building and definitely worth a visit. We were thrilled to find that a choir was singing and that alone was moving and beautiful experience. The audience were encouraged to participate in the Christmas carol singing and this made it even more memorable.
All in all a lovely afternoon out, but next time we will eat elsewhere as our custom in the cafe didn’t seem to be valued.
