Disappointing - herded through Aston Hall by candlelight

点评：Aston Hall by candlelight was sadly disappointing. We were on the first tour at 4.15pm and were waiting outside in the cold until 4pm, when the doors were opened. We then had access to the cafe. There were no cakes or snacks only basic tea and coffee & cold drinks. There was no heating on in the cafe, it was colder in there than the hall!. The 45 minute tour of the hall with c900 ‘candles’ felt as though we were herded through decorated rooms to areas where the guided wanted to talk to us. Although we were told we could take photos - we were rushed in doing this. The group was large c20-25 people so taking photos naturally took time! There was one person in costume who appeared in an area that we walked through - so her presence didn’t really mean anything which was a shame. At the last area there were musicians playing live music which was lovely. We rated our visit as 6/10, based on this we would not recommend it to family, friends and colleagues. We stopped at a Starbucks on the motorway services on the way home - to get a lovely hot drink and snack. Come on Birmingham there is scope for improvements!
翻译：烛光下的阿斯顿庄园之旅令人失望至极。我们参加的是下午4点15分的第一场，在寒风中一直等到4点才开门。之后我们才得以进入咖啡厅。咖啡厅里没有蛋糕或小吃，只有基本的茶、咖啡和冷饮。咖啡厅里没有暖气，比庄园里还要冷！45分钟的庄园之旅，大约有900根“蜡烛”，感觉就像是被赶着穿过装饰过的房间，到导游想跟我们讲解的地方。虽然导游说可以拍照，但我们拍照的时候却被催促得很快。我们团人数众多，大约20-25人，所以拍照自然很费时间！途中有一个穿着戏服的人出现在我们经过的区域——但她的出现并没有什么实际意义，这很可惜。最后一个区域有现场乐队演奏，这很不错。我们给这次参观打了6分（满分10分），基于此，我们不会向家人、朋友和同事推荐这里。回家的路上，我们在高速公路服务区的星巴克停了一下，买了杯热饮和点心。伯明翰，你们还有很大的改进空间！
