Overpriced, soulless, unfriendly
Ironbridge Gorge Museums的点评
点评：We visited for the first time 7th June, travelled 2.5hrs to find it's just a load of buildings with no soul.
The buildings were interesting and lovely but lacked anything to make you feel you were immersed.
We've been to the Black Country Living Museum over 50 times, it's my all time favourite place since a kid.
Ironbridge museum falls unbelievably short of the black country museum.
A few things we noticed, prices are astonishingly high, we've never felt so ripped off.
Lack of customer service in the chip shop & cafes, no sense of urgency, taking their sweet time and no sorry for the wait (1.5hr for chips!!, 45 minutes for a drink), no enjoy your day or even a thank you, expecially after we were wishing them a good day (despite their lack of friendlies).
Lack of variety in the cafes and if you have allergies, dietary needs, you're out of luck.
No bottled drinks so you could easily walk around with them, just water or cans.
No cakes or suchlike at the bakery, just bread?! Which had sold out.
£26 for sub par fish and chips, no variety of sweets other than boiled in the sweet shop, BCLM has so much more variety and at reasonable prices.
There was no fair despite it being on the map, the hill lift was closed and the mine train.
The gift shop was awful, barely a thing that nodded to it's history, just generic NT stuff which we have zero interest in snd again, ridiculously overpriced.
The service at the Black Country is second to none, we feel welcomed there.
We said we wouldn't visit again, no chance after yesterday, which is a shame as it could be so much better.

咖啡馆的菜品种类很少，如果你有过敏或特殊饮食需求，那就只能自认倒霉了。不提供瓶装饮料，所以无法方便地拿着饮料四处走动，只有水或罐装饮料。
面包店里没有蛋糕之类的点心，只有面包？！而且面包还卖光了。
一份味道一般的炸鱼薯条要26英镑，糖果店里除了煮的糖果外，没有其他种类的糖果，而黑乡博物馆（BCLM）的糖果种类丰富得多，价格也合理得多。
尽管地图上标明了集市，但实际上并没有集市，登山缆车和矿山小火车也都关闭了。
礼品店糟透了，几乎没有任何与历史相关的元素，只有一些我们根本不感兴趣的普通国家信托基金会（NT）产品，而且价格又贵得离谱。
黑乡的服务无可挑剔，我们在那里感到宾至如归。
我们说不会再来了，昨天的经历让我们彻底打消了再次光顾的念头，这很可惜，因为这里本来可以做得更好。
