Yume Samdong (Zero Point)的点评
点评：3 days trip to only venture "this" place, worth every penny and all the efforts.
So I booked a pvt cab (xylo) for the two of us from Gangtok at a price of 16k that included Zero point minus the stay and food. This taxi package is for 2 nights and 3 days with the permit fees.
Should one needs a shared booking, there are agents who book an entire package where per person charge is around 4k to 5k that includes everything including the stay and food, but you have to share your car which generally is a Bolero with 9 more people excluding the driver.
Coming to Zero point, a place where words cease to describe it all.
About 2.5 hrs drive and 45 kms from Lachung, this marvel sits at an altitude of 15,300 ft from the sea level.
Mother nature in her best, month of October helped us get the clear skies and open roads.
Do carry extreme winter clothing, boots are rented around the place for a price of rs 100 per pair. Lot of Maggie points outside the park.
The route is spectacular, it is bumpy but don't mind as the scenery around will leave you in awe.
Once you reach there, the place welcomes you with open arms, it's just not the snow but there's a flowing River through the park that makes it go another level.
Play around, click pictures and have fun but stay safe.
In the vicinity there's a I Love Zero Point mark, get yourself clicked and keep the place in your heart for always.
