Disappointing, not worth hype
The Time Capsule的点评
点评：The Time Capsule is something that I have heard of for many years. I've been told I should pay a visit, that the hype is justified. However, my experience there was a let down. My group got there, and, one positive was that we were served swiftly. Receptionist was not unfriendly, but could have been slightly nicer. I'd love to tell you how much the tickets were, but I did not book them. I can tell you that I'd advice bringing a pound for the lockers.
You are given 90 minutes in the pool and waterpark, so we went to the slides first, to check how they looked. Unfortunately, 2 slides were closed, and the 2 that were open were up a set of dark stairs. It was around 3:30pm at the time, which meant that it was dark, so the least they could do was put some lights on. The flumes were alright, I preferred the 'Lightning' one, as it had more of a kick. Waves were extremely underwhelming, go to Mariner Centre for a better experience and the whirlpool was congested to the point where you couldn't move.
After spending a good amount of time in the whirlpool, all the lifeguards began blowing their whistles and urging everyone to get out. The crowds were rather busy that day, so trying to get everyone out proved a struggle. Rumors began circulating that someone had defecated in the pool, but I cannot confirm this. The worst part was that there weren't enough changing cubicles for everyone, so many people had to wait for one.
Overall, the experience wasn't worth the hype, and I certainly wouldn't jump back for a second visit. IF the other slides were open, IF the waves were better and IF there were more cubicles? It would've been a much better experience all round.
