Speedwell Cavern的点评
点评：No toilets present at the site and hefty £6 charge for parking which is though discounted at the cabin. The car park is also the worst I’ve ever seen. It has a steep approach of about one in six and large pieces of slab rock protruding from the surface.
Anyone driving a car with limited ground clearance or front or rear end spoilers would not be able to park here
The cave itself is just a drainage tunnel through to a very large and quite scary cavern
The boat trip is fairly uninteresting it is extremely difficult to get out of and into the boat and the boat constantly hits the bottom of the canal and the side of the tunnel. Please keep your hands and arms within the Boat and your helmets on at all times. This would be the warning I would issue to customers, but there was no such warning.
If you like adventure and the feeling of more than mild peril then do visit this Cavern !!!!
Must say sorry to the managers of the site it’s a pleasant place to visit halfway up the pass but I would’ve expected completely free car parking or rather car parking refunded off the entrance fee.
