Not worth the money unless you have a pass

点评：Having been gifted a national trust pass we thought we would visit when passing.
Luckily the passes enabled us to get free parking as the parking charges, as in all national trust properties, is extortionate.
When we arrived we approached an unfriendly lady in a cabin who reluctantly told us where to go and that the house was in fact closed.
We later found out the house was closed until February.
We visited the gift shop and book shop (clones of what you would find at any NT property) and then walked to the walled garden. We passed the cabin again where the original lady and new lady stood and abruptly stopped their conversation and stared as we walked into the garden.
The garden was also extortionately priced at £9pp! We were in there for approx 10 mins at most. As it is December there wasn’t even anything to see.
Overall my experience was unsatisfactory.
