Knole - National Trust的点评
点评：Driving up to the house and car park, saw plenty of deer. We had not pre-booked but went mid week. We were able to go up the tower and go round all the rooms which were really interesting. At the top of the tower, you could also see a bit more of the house and also see a lot of the deer around in the park.
The staff within the rooms were really helpful and were able to elaborate on a lot of the fine details within paintings, furniture and history of the house.
There were stairs to go up the tower, obviously, which also led to other rooms, and the stairs to get up to the higher rooms within the house. For those of limited stair walking capability, they did have an iPad that uses could use to view the other rooms if they’re unable to use the stairs - this was really useful.
I did not find staff rude, as other people have mentioned, however it was a bit odd as you enter the house to know what you needed to do…
