点评:Knole Park is an interesting visit. The house and tower are ticketed separately but it is very much worth visiting both. The house rooms are very interesting and extensive and the tower rooms are set up as Eddy Sackville (heir and Earl) had them with information about his life and times in the first half of C20, quite a contrast to the antiquities and C17/18 interior of the house. The complex has a cafe - the usual National Trust offerings - and a gift shop as well as adequate toilets. We were there on a Bank Holiday and although it was busy it did not seem crowded. We did not do any of the three walks in the park as it was chilly and time did not allow, but these plus a house tour, would be interesting and, along with a picnic, make a very good day out.
