Great museum!
MAS - 水上博物馆的点评
点评：This museum is very fun and has a beautiful building, with 10 floors holding temporary and permanent exhibitions and collections.
Warning: PLEASE do not use the free swimming area outside the entrance, it is very popular but NOT affiliated with the museum and is in a very dirty area connected to the harbour, your can see chemicals and oil floating on the surface!
This museum is very good and extensive, definitely worth the ticket price but check what will be included before you book as the exhibitions are constantly changing. The exhibitions are very interesting and wide-ranging but the Stad in Oorlog (Antwerp during WWII) exhibition missed many key battles and had a lot of empty display cabinets which was disappointing. The other exhibitions are better laid out.
Lockers and toilets are free, and the staff are all helpful and friendly. The roof terrace is also free to visit, even without a ticket to the museum, and has great views of the city. There are also usually 1 or 2 free exhibitions which you can visit without a ticket too!
