点评：We took our relative who was visiting from the USA, to see the castle. We enjoyed our time there, however we could not help but notice how run down the place was. Most houses and estates we have been able to visit were in a much better condition. Still as I say we had a pleasant time. It was really nice to meet a member of staff who goes by the name of the Castle Granny, a lovely lady who was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. After the Castle we called into the cafe. Both service and food were very good. There is also a garden shop and in another part rugs and clothing. We finished our time there with a visit to see the Deer park. I think that people visiting should realise the cost of the upkeep of these place is very high. Its the history for me that I look at. Give it a try there was plently of parking on site.
