Nice zoo for the price

点评：What’s really important to note when attending the zoo is that it is really steep in parts.
We took a bus from city centre to the zoo which took us to outside the zoo. Buses were direct and frequent from Donegall Place. From the bus stop it is the first steep part of the walk up to the zoo entrance. We had prebooked out tickets so made entry swift. Staff on reception were efficient but I wouldn’t say overly friendly.
The actual zoo is spacious but again very steep in parts. We followed the map to go round. As it’s November, it was understandably quite quiet so we didn’t feel rushed when approaching different enclosures. There was plenty to see for low price of the zoo. The plentiful number of peacocks walking around was lovely. There were parts of the zoo that need refurbishment or was tired looking but overall it was a good visit.
My sons (11 and 12) enjoyed the visit.
